BELIEVE

" What you believe will be your way of life "

Belief is the most important thing. Belief is the bottom-line. Whatever your belief system is, whatever you call this Higher Power,"God, Allah, Enlighten One, Yahweh, Higher Force, the fact remains that this is our main inspiration to excel.

The vehicle to realizing this force is "FAITH". Apostle Paul wrote that " Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things which are not seen.

Faith is the firm belief, the firm conviction which is not based on things we have seen, it is not based on external evidence. It is believing on something we do not see but feel.

It is believing that there's a Creator of the whole universe. From the tiniest particles to the vastness of the universe that it is so infinite that we are not capable of understanding its dimensions but believing that behind all of these, there is a Creator, the Most Powerful, the Source of everything but the most kind God.

Faith in God energizes our mind and body, enables us to perceive possibilities and motivates us to do the impossibilities.

Cease thinking of what you cannot do, instead think of what you can do.

Believe that with God all things are possible.

LIFE REMINDERS

You're just a chicken

The following illustration has been around for quite a while but it is a good reminder. Also, there are different versions of this story, but they all make an excellent point.

A man found an eagle's egg and put it into the nest of a prairie chicken. The eaglet hatched with the brood of chicks and grew up with them.

As the days passed by, the eagle, thinking he was a prairie chicken, did whatever the other prairie chickens did. He scratched in the dirt of seeds and insects to eat. He clucked and cackled. And he flew in a brief thrashing of wings and glurry of feathers no more than a few feet off the ground. After all,

Months passed. The eagle grew. One day he saw a magnificent bird far above him in the cloudless sky. Hanging with graceful majesty on the powerful wind currents, it soared with scarcely a beat of its strong wooden wings.

" What a beautiful bird! " said the eagle to his neighbor. "What is it?"
"That's an eagle- the chief of the birds, " the neighbor clucked. " But don't give it a second thought. You could never be like him. You're just a chicken."

In the story above, I've read two version of conclusion.

First version of conclusion:

The eagle, thinking he was just a prairie chicken and not able to soar into the heights, lived his life groveling and picking at the ground, never experiencing the exhilaration of flight and the majesty which was his by birthright.

...Tragically, this is the picture of many of us today. We fail to take advantage of the abilities and blessings to "soar on wings like eagles, that God has prepared for all who trust in Him and we just believed to our neighbors who told us "you're just a chicken".

Second version of conclusion:

The eagle believing he can fly high , daily he climb to a higher place then jump and tried to spread his wings, until one day, he knew how to spread his wings properly and fly high and soar in the sky.

In the book of Isaiah we are told that if we believe in Him and trust Him, we will be able to soar on wings like eagles' and fulfill our God given potential.

So, what conclusion will you apply in your life in the story of above? Either you will believe your neighbor that you are just a chicken or you will start believing that you are an eagle that can fly high in the sky.

" Remember, you're not a chicken."
